We had the pleasure of photographing my new sister-in-law for her bridals. It was an ABSOLUTELY FREEZING day but she was such a trooper. I’m so excited to have another sister and could not have picked a better match for my brother! Introducing Rebecca Baker James!!!

I believe siblings are a treasure. I am so thankful that not only is my sister happily married, but my little brother just married a wonderful lady last weekend. Their wedding will be coming soon but before that we wanted to share some of our favorites from their engagements.

Cupcakes and Raindrops

Meet Lilly, the happiest little blue eyed cutie who just celebrated her first year!

Our first stop, Neapolitan Cupcake and Gift Shoppe. If you like cupcakes as much as me, (Brooke) then please make visiting this adorable place number one on your “to do” list. PLEASE try the Salted Caramel!!!! You will thank me later.

Then we headed outdoors for some fun in the sun…..oh, WAIT, more like the WORST rainstorm (monsoon, tornado warnings, wind that could have easily picked sweet Lilly up) since 2011!!! Lilly just kept smiling and thankfully, her parents are as easy going as she is. Despite the weather, we kept shooting and this session turned out to be one of our favorites ever.

Windmills Portrait Event – Spring Is In The Air!

Join us on Saturday, April 16th in Thomson for our Spring Mini-Session Portrait Event. This event will celebrate spring in every way. Come run with the baby lambs (yes, we will have real, live lambs), flutter with the butterflies, fly the giant paper airplanes, or play with a super-sized kite! This event can be catered to families. Please be advised this is not your patent leather, lacy sock, Sunday best portrait event. Bring your munchkins in clothing that is colorful (bolder is better than pastels). Patterns are great, just make sure that they are not distracting from your child (small patterns work best). If you have any questions regarding wardrobe, we will be glad to help. Session times will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be scheduled every half hour. Please call or email us today to schedule your session. These would make great Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gifts!!!

Here are the details!

When: Saturday, April 16, 2011
Time: Beginning at 9:00 and every half hour until the sun goes down.
Where: Thomson Farm (directions will be emailed once session is booked)
Cost: $45.00 per 30 minute session.
Package A: 1- 8×10, 2- 5×7′s, and 4- 4×6′s for $45.00.
Package B: 1 high resolution disc of all images for $65.00.
Package C: 1 high resolution disc of all images with a custom photo disc cover for $85.00.
Additional prints may be purchased a la carte after purchasing a package.

Maternity- Mandy

We are always so thankful when people come back to us for more photos. Reagan and Mandy are those people. They trusted us with her maternity and newborn pics for their first little cutie, Ryleigh and when they wanted to use us again, we were thrilled. You see, I have quite a history with Mandy. We went to school together our ENTIRE lives, (she’s older than me though….only by one year but she is still older- I like to rub that in as often as possible) we cheered together as long as I can remember and we were always the ones being thrown through the air, we are both preachers kids (so you know what that means), and we even dated some of the same guys. (Hahahaha) It’s nice to know that years later I can still call Mandy a friend and also have the opportunity to watch her sweet little family grow. Congratulations to you both and I hope you enjoy these.

Meet GORGEOUS Ryleigh- she wants to be a photographer when she grows up. LOVE IT!

Ryleigh wanted her Mommy and Daddy to shake their heads back and forth for this picture. We were dying but I actually really like how it turned out. HA!!!

Senior Session- Sarah

We were so excited when Sarah asked us to shoot her senior pics. She is such a beautiful girl on the inside and the outside and she is a girl who’s got her head on her shoulders. She is forever helping my husband and I out in youth, she babysits my crazy kidos, and the girl can TALK. When I say talk, I mean a ton and REALLY REALLY FAST!!! You have to focus when she speaks or you will be left in the dust.

Is this a sign I am getting old?

Don’t answer that question…..Seriously!

What were we talking about?

Ahhh…Yes, Sarah!

She wanted a little country and a little city and I think we delivered. I love you girl.

Could NOT decide….I think I like the black and white but then again, her eyes look stunning up next to that blue.

I know it’s wrong to covet but my short little 5’1″ legs were absolutely coveting her runway model legs.

Senior Session-Jenna

Jenna you were UH-MAZING!!! This girl worked it for the camera even though she REALLY did not want to. Her exact words were, I am not a “Barbie Doll” and I would much rather be in my flip flops. After this session though, I think she might need to put on some heels a little more often. (HeeHee) We had a blast with you girl. Thanks for letting us shoot you and those BEAUTIFUL eyes.

It’s the last week of our September Specials and we are offering Large Family Sessions on October 10th as our final hoorah!

What’s a Large Family Session you ask?

Well, each family is different and each family is a different size. So whether you have four people to photograph or 35, you qualify for this special. It’s basically just a good reason to get everyone together for a FUN photo session.
