Sweet Smiles “J”

All I can say is hold on tight. This little guy is gonna knock your socks off. He is six months old and all boy. He absolutely hates to sit down. He would stiffen his legs and I think it took us ten to fifteen minutes to finally get him on the ground. Amy and I were laughing so hard. I guess you had to be there, I have just never seen anything like it in my life. He was ALL smiles and just the cutest little thing ever. It was an absolute honor to meet this family. I just wish they lived a little closer. I can’t get a very good cutie pie fix from Massachusetts.

Introducing Little Man “Z”

This little guy was so sweet. He was only about 3 weeks old and he had his daddy completely wrapped. It is neat to watch such a little bundle come into a home and turn it upside down. This couple has been married for ten years and has just started adding to their family tree. Each couple does things in their own timing but regardless of when you add a baby to your family they are sure to bring joy. There is nothing like it in all of the world. Can’t wait to see you again soon.

Hailey the Cowgirl

Several months ago we rented the movie Flicka (it’s about a girl and her horse) for a Friday night family movie. Little did I know, that our oldest little girl Hailey would become absolutely obsessed with the four legged creature. Let me define obsession. She will invite our neighbors little boy over and tie a rope around him and make him run around the yard while she yells, “Whoa girl” all while wearing her red cowgirl hat. I must say, he is a really good sport. She gallops constantly through the house and also uses her daddy’s belts as the rope while sitting across the arm of the couch screaming, “Yee Haw.” Told ya she was in love. Well, for Christmas we decided to give her horse riding lessons and the cutie sat there and cried when she relized the treasure she held in her hand. It was quite the Christmas. Below is the Christmas morning surprise as well as her first lesson. She went last Saturday and has not quit talking about it since.

This is little sister, Ava. She was not very happy to find out she couldn’t ride. But she is beautiful anyway.

This made her happy enough.

It doesn’t get much cuter than this.

Baby “A” newborn

What a sweet family this is. They are a part of our Baby Story Club which means we get to watch him grow into a little boy for the next year. Have I mentioned how much I love my job. I was totally amazed at how strong this little guy was. He was so alert and such a trooper. I look forward to our 3 month session.

Don’t you just want to put him in your pocket!

I love how soft this turned out. She is radiant!

I love how the sunspots turned out in this one. Their backyard was beautiful.

Stunning Mamma!

One Big Happy Family

OK, so I know that every family has their issues but if I could have a second family, I would pick this one. We went over on Thanksgiving day (I know, I know, I am trying to get caught up on my posting) to photograph the entire family- all 30 of them. Susan’s father is 90 years old and he does NOT disappoint. He was such a feisty guy. I kinda have a thing for little old men but don’t tell my hubby. (Wink Wink) He may have been the cutest I have encountered so far. Together he and his wife (who is just as precious) have four children, tons of grandchildren and even more great grandchildren. I think I could have stayed all day just hanging out and listening to his stories. What a wealth of knowledge and wisdom they both had. It is sessions like this that make me love my job. Oh yeah, he told Amy that she looked like S. Palin. How funny is that. We both got a good laugh out of that one.

This is the whole crew

I love love love this picture. These are their children.

I asked if they would kiss and he said, “You bet I will” and he planted a big one on her. Cue the music!!!

PRECIOUS!

Told ya he was a cutie!
